What's a great Christmas gift for mom?

Hi. i'm 13 and want to get my mom something for Christmas. I always get her the regular jewelry, PJ's, candles, cookbooks… blah blah blah. The normal stuff. But this year i want it to be something shes not expecting. She has fibromyalgia (as do i) which is means her body hurts or is tense most of the time. She enjoys painting and crocheting. As well as baking. My dad's paying so that's not an issue. (i already have a gift for him) Shes always putting myself, my brother (11) and my sister (2) before herself. So i want this to be special. Does anyone know these old Christmas video(s)?

Hi everyone. I'm stuck on a few things. I'm looking for titles for a few videos that I barely remember from way back when. I'm looking for the name of the Classic Disney Christmas collection…you know, where Mickey and Minnie go skating, and donald duck gets into shinanigans and pluto's putting up his christmas tree? I remember watching them when I was a kid…remember when Disney was on at 8 PM on Sunday nights? Does Disney still do that? Anyways, there were a bunch of classic Disney films for Christmas….

The next one is harder. I remember these Christmas movies as being animated. And I remember them as being fairly old quality. I can't tell you what they were about too much, but I remember a little kid wearing red pajamas with feet…and I remember his little bum flap opening up and seeing his little bum on Christmas eve or day. I am also sitting here thinking that there might not have been talking in the videos…maybe just animated with music?? I used to watch these videos at Christmas-time at my grandparents when I was a kid.

Can anyone help me?

How should a Jewish Christmas be celebrated?

The first thing I'd expect you people to think is: “Jews don't celebrate Christmas; they celebrate Hanukkah”. My friends, who are Jewish and live 30 min. away from me, are Jewish and are throwing a Christmas party tomorrow (Dec. 6).

So my question is: When Jews decide to throw a Christmas party, how do they celebrate it?

Muslims and Christmas?

I'm not Christian but I've celebrated Christmas my whole life. When I've talked to Muslims this shocks them, and I don't understand why. Christmas has absolutely no religious significance anymore. It's purely cultural, not attached to any religion. For instance, what does Santa, pine trees, stockings, and elves have to do with Jesus? Nothing! Christmas, for me, is basically a cultural holiday hijacked by Christians who want to pretend that it was Jesus' birthday when they don't even know when he was born. What do you think? Why do you think Muslims aren't allowed to celebrate it since it isn't a religious holiday, it's cultural?

How should we celebrate Christmas Eve?

My husband and i spend thanksgiving with my family so Christmas is spent with his family. In the past Christmas day was spent at his grandmothers, where it was a nightmare. So my husbands mother started having us over for christmas eve so that we could celebrate with just them, (Dad, mother, sister , my husband and i) but this year my mother-in-law is hosting the Christmas dinner because grandma decided she didn't want to do it. so would it be stepping on toes to ask my mother-in-law if she would mind if we celebrated Christmas Eve at our (New) house. That way she wouldn't have to cook christmas eve and Christmas day. plus, we just bought a house and it would be the first time to have his family over for dinner. Each woman of my husbands side of the family hosts a holiday and now my mother in law host 3, easter, christmas and christmas eve, so i thought it would be nice if i could host one, like christmas eve. I am very close to my mother in law and we don't have issues with eachother or compete over anything, i just want to make sure it isn't over stepping.

What should I give for Christmas?

So I need some help with getting my family and friends gifts. First I will mention who I will give gifts to and what I have in mind. There's my dad, mom, brother, brother's wife, My brother's baby, brother's wife sister, Brother's in-laws, my #1 best friend, another friend that is married to by best friends brother, and my second best friend.

Dad~He asked for rich chocolates and gourmet foods. I got him rocca chocolate, lindt chocolates, and other fancy food. I'm also gonna give him dvds like Gran Torino, Darjeeling Limited, and a few others. What else is a good gift for a dad, no ties, shirts, pants, watches, no clothing whatsoever.

Mom-Im gonna get her a handbag since she has a handbag fetish, and maybe a cute piece of jewelery. What else would you suggest.

Brother-I'm making him a scarf. The pattern is going to be blue,white,blue white. And maybe some snacks and also some dvd's Gran Torino, Ocean's Eleven, and Kung Fu Hustle. I'm thinking of finding him a nice sweater~maybe. Should I get him anything else

My brother's wife/Brother's wife sister-I'm going to give them both xoxo wallets, and make them both nice semi-fancy homemade bath kit.

My brother's baby(2&1/2)~I'm gonna get him a fancy baby suit with slacks, jacket, white button down shirt, and tie. And a cute sippie cup like spiderman or Cars, and maybe a few toys. Any other suggestions.

My brother's in-laws~I don't have a clue

My best Friend~I'm gonna make her a scarf pattern red, white, red, white, etc

My other friend married to my best friends brother~ She just had her honeymoon, but no condoms:D like a joke I can give her baby clothes:) I have no clue I need some help

My second best friend~My friend just had her 21 birthday I need to give her a birthday+Christmas gift. First I'm gonna treat her out to the movies. We're gonna see “New Moon” I personally don't really like this series, but it's entertaining. Then we're going Bowling, and dinner. What should I get her as a present. I might have to give it to her after Christmas because for Christmas I won't be near her. Ummm I'm going to New York for Christmas should I get her some cute stationery from a cute Korean shop? Need some help
